Introduction
On December 17, 2024, players eagerly awaited the release of the new patch 11.0.7 in WoW TWW. Although this update doesn’t aim to be a major expansion, it introduced many intriguing elements to the game, designed to refresh the gameplay and keep players engaged until the start of the second season. The main highlight of the patch is the new zone — Siren Isle. In this article, we will take a closer look at the features of this location and everything it has brought to the game.
Siren Isle content
About the new zone
This area is located far out in the ocean’s stormy region. The zone features numerous lakes and waterways, along with rocky formations, but these provide little protection from the constant storms in the area.
Previously, this territory was used by Kul Tiras for Azerite mining, as evidenced by the abundance of their structures. The region remained abandoned until recently when a sudden surge of powerful energy shook the surrounding world. This phenomenon caught the attention of researchers, prompting expeditions from various races to investigate the unusual occurrence and uncover its mysteries. Players will complete quests, open treasure chests, kill rare elite mobs, and participate in a new event.
Main enemies
On Siren Isle, players will encounter three main types of enemies: Naga, Vrykul, and Pirates. The type of foes on the island will change weekly, adding variety to the gameplay. Additionally, players will also come across various hostile inhabitants native to these lands.
Storm’s A BrewinStorm’s A Brewin is a special event that becomes available after finishing the first weekly quest for one of the enemy types. During this phase, a powerful storm hits the island. Instead of regular enemies, stronger creatures show up, able to survive in harsh conditions.
During this event, you’ll need to defend your base, but don’t worry—your allies will provide plenty of weapons and tools to make things easier. You can also find unique battle pets and hidden secrets in the storm area.
To enter the storm phase, talk to NPC Sally Boltwrench at Flotsam Shoal. You can return to the storm any time during the week, but after the weekly reset, you’ll need to unlock it again.
Cyrce’s Circlet
Players will unlock This new unique ring while completing the main zone questline. To unlock it, players must complete The Radiant Vault quest and two additional quests that teach how to use it and unlock all of its abilities. The ring consists of three sockets, each dedicated to a specific type of gem:
- Yellow Socket: Singing Thunder Citrine
- Blue Socket: Singing Sea Citrine
- Pink Socket: Singing Wind Citrine
Players can change and add their gems without much trouble, allowing them to adapt to different game situations. Removed stones are moved to your inventory and wait for the right time to shine again. The ring has a 639 item level when you unlock it, but it can be upgraded to 658. You can do it yourself or order a WoW boost that will do it for you.
New currency
Siren Isle has provided a new currency called Flame-Blessed Iron, which is used to interact with vendors. You can use it to buy gear, a large number of cosmetic items, mounts, or even gems for your new ring. You can visit WoWhead to learn more about vendors. Currency is obtained for any activity in the game: normal mobs give from 1 to 3 units of this currency, while elite mobs can provide from 5 to 15. Rare mobs generously reward the player by dropping between 30 and 60 Flame-Blessed Iron. This currency can also be found in treasure chests, which provide between 5 and 15 units. During Major Excavation Events, you can get 150 to 200 Flame-Blessed Iron from bosses. Additionally, players can get 200 units of currency for completing weekly quests. The accumulation process is quite long, as especially valuable items can cost 3+ thousand, so a lot of players order WoW boost service. The player selects the required amount of currency on the website and WoW booster farms it from his account. If you are afraid to give personal data to such campaigns, you can use the remote control boost method.
Flying in the zone
Due to the changeable weather in Siren Isle, players will not be able to use flying mounts during the storm, but there is a solution – Experimental Go-Pack. It allows you to rise into the air and move to a specific point. This item is consumable, so buy them regularly at Sally Boltwrench.
Excavations
Major Excavations — this is a world event that is activated by donations of Flame-Blessed Iron. To start the event, 30 contributions of 5 units of iron are required, totaling 150 Flame-Blessed Iron. Once activated, an excavation site appears on the map, and players must assemble a group within 3 minutes. The main objective of the event is to defeat a rare enemy that spawns inside. After completion, there is a 5-minute break, and then the process can be repeated.
Mounts
In addition to a large number of cosmetic items and equipment, players can get 4 new mounts. They will not only diversify the gameplay but will also be valuable trophies for those who decide to go through all the challenges that await them in the new zone. Let’s familiarize ourselves with them and the requirements:
- Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren: A powerful storm bird. Players must summon it in the Forgotten Vault area. To do it, collect 5 rune keys during the storm and activate rune stones.
- Prismatic Snapdragon: This is a unique mount that changes its color depending on the treats. Can be obtained through a chain of daily quests. To start, you need to find a hungry Snapdragon Runt and complete the quest “A Lifeline”. Each day you will be offered a new quest that will evolve the mount and make it a loyal friend.
- The Breaker’s Song: is a single-seat stylish ship. To obtain it, it is necessary to complete the Isle Remember You meta-achievement. This is a challenging task, as players need to fully explore the entire island to complete them.
- Soweezi’s Vintage Waveshredder: This is a unique Surfer Mount with two engines. Unlike the other mounts, it does not require any achievements or quests. Players can buy it for 10,000 Flame-Blessed Iron at the Soweezi vendor.
