That said, Affinity through Wine should be approached carefully. Some users report success with certain versions, specific Wine builds, and custom dependencies, while others encounter crashes, missing panels, activation problems, poor rendering, or broken hardware acceleration. Affinity updates can also change the situation unexpectedly.

Until Serif releases native Linux versions, a supported Windows or macOS environment remains the safest foundation for serious Affinity Designer, Photo, and Publisher workflows.
